Sports:
Club Soccer - Michigan Jaguars (2007-2021)

I have played soccer competitively since the age of 5 for the same club. The Michigan Jaguars is a soccer club that was originally based out of Novi, but has since expanded. I have played for them ever since I started playing soccer and for the past 7 years I have been a team captain. Being a leader of such a high level team has been a wonderful experience that has taught me so many things. From assisting players, problem solving, to working together to overcome specific challenges, and how to be a good leader all together. I try to always have a positive attitude even in bad situations in a game. As a captain I would help set up team bonding activities, help the coach out when needed, and help keep my team motivated and prepared for games.
Semi-Professional Soccer - Detroit City FC (2020-2021)

Starting last spring, I joined the Detroit City FC Women's Semi-Professional soccer team. I was the youngest player to ever play for the club on the men's and women's side. I started off as just a 17 year old playing with many college athletes and older. Many were married with kids and played for other professional teams. I learned how to work with many different people from different backgrounds and level of play. I was taught a lot different things, within the game of soccer, from older players. I had to work very hard to prove myself and my roll on this team, which is why I will be playing for them in the future too.
Football- South Lyon East High school (2019-2021)

I decided to play football during my sophomore year and tried out that following summer. I was a place kicker for South Lyon East football team my junior and senior year. I also was on kickoff my junior year but was removed due to risk of being tackled. I broke the school's record for PAT (point after touchdown percentage) my junior year and still hold that record. Playing for an all guys football team has taught me to respectfully stand up for myself and how to overcome sexism. I put myself in an uncomfortable situation to push myself and it has made me a better person because of it. I loved all the support from family and friends and the excitement I got when I made a PAT and heard my team cheering. The highlight of my high school football career was kicking a game winning field goal in double overtime.

Community Service and Work Experience:

Families Building Faith - (2016-2020)

Families Building Faith is a local organization that started off by making easter baskets for less fortunate families. They have now expanded to also doing halloween goodie bags and Christmas baskets for schools and families all over. I often volunteer before most holidays to help make the baskets for the kids. The baskets contain all sorts of supplies and goodies and you get to pick out the type/color for each basket. I love doing this because it is fun to make the baskets and seeing the smiles on the kids faces when they receive the gifts. I got to work with so many different people all just wanting to help others and it is a great experience. I recently haven't been able to volunteer due to the pandemic, but have reached out to the organization and donated many needed materials for them to continue their work.
Summer in the City - (summer of 2018 and 2019)

Summer in the City is a community service program that mainly works out of Detroit and helping improve the city. I volunteered for them a couple of times two summers in a row and each time you go to Detroit with group leaders who assign you and your group tasks to do that help the city. A couple of those tasks include cleaning up trash, painting bridges, watching kids at a daycare center, ect. An unusual one I did was to chaperone summer school kids on a "field trip." We took the kids around the city and played at a park, splash pad, and did many crafts. I found this volunteering experience to be very eye opening and fun to meet all the kids and make them smile. I have learned to appreciate all that I have been provided with since many aren't as fortunate as I am.
Babysitting - (6th grade - present)

Since I was in 6th grade, I have been babysitting many different families as needed. I love working with kids and taking care of them, it may be a challenging job at times, but it can be very rewarding. most recently I have been nannying a family over the summer of two young boys who are troublemakers at times, but I have learned how to keep them busy. I also babysit a family with 3 kids all between the ages of 4 months and 7 years old from time to time. I have had experience with babies, young kids, and kids closer to my age because some of them need a driver to take kids to practice. I have learned to be extremely patient and how to keeps kids busy or engaged in something to remain out of trouble. As seen to the left, I took the boys fishing and one of them caught a fish.
